February 23, 2010: i-flashback v5.0 for integrators in beta

October 27, 2009: ControlByNet offers wholesale surveillance option for integrators. This allows easy entry into hosted video surveillance without the usual startup costs. Please view our press release.

ControlByNet partners with Isonas to enable i-flashback support for IP-based readers. This allows ControlByNet to provide both locally installed and hosted access control solutions. The architecture is seamlessly integrated into i-flashback to provide an extremely user friendly browser-based management interface. Isonas was the first company to create an IP-based reader, and utilizes wireless as well as Power over Ethernet to provide ease and flexibility.

ControlByNet supports Axis new H.264 (or H264) video compression format. Combined with the almost completed mpeg delivery via the browser, ControlByNet will be one of the only providers able to deliver in this format without a locally installed application.

ControlByNet has been selected as the preferred solution for a large recycling company with sites throughout the Southeast. ControlByNet's i-flashback REMOTE software will record and provide access to the remote sites. Guards in a central monitoring station using our ip-lookOUT guard station software will provide remote security for all sites. Ip-lookOUT provides security personnel the ability to monitor more cameras than would usually be possible. Guards are visibly and audibly alerted upon motion events from any remote site. The live image and recorded video are instantly presented for the guard to take the necessary action.

The system is not only used for security but is also a key management tool as top management can look in at all the remote yards from the central monitoring station or from any other location via web browser.

The remote sites will contain only network cameras and supporting hardware, with no recording device on site. This is a true representation of an IP-based system, and provides unlimited growth and modifications for the future.
